Fusion Spaces

Spaces are focused groups around a role, skill, or goal (e.g. a backend-engineering space or an interview-prep space). Join the ones matching your path; each has its own posts, members, and activity.

Feed, posts, and leaderboard

• Activity feed — real accomplishments from people you follow: badges earned, courses finished, score milestones.
• Posts — share progress, ask questions, write up what you learned.
• Leaderboard — XP rankings within your peer group. Friendly pressure, same 6-month window as your XP.

Peer endorsements

Worked with someone? Endorse a specific skill you've seen them use. Endorsements earn the recipient 100 XP and feed the Mentor Endorsed badge path. Endorsements are rate-limited and logged to keep them meaningful.

Direct messages

Real-time one-to-one messaging. The message icon in the navbar carries an unread badge and opens a dropdown with your recent conversations and as-you-type people search; the full two-pane view lives at /user/messages, with typing indicators and read receipts. Clear conversation clears your copy only — the other person keeps their history.

You choose who can message you (everyone, connections, or no one) under Settings → Privacy. First-message email notifications can be turned off in Email preferences.
