Is my score visible to everyone?
Only if your public profile is enabled (Settings → Privacy). Employers see the public card; your coach chats, notes, and course details are always private.
Why did my Career Profile Score change?
It recalculates whenever your profile changes — editing experience, adding education, or uploading a new resume. XP moving doesn't change this score; they are separate layers.
Why did my XP go down?
Headline XP covers a 6-month rolling window. Actions older than six months age out, so a quiet stretch lowers the number. Earn anything new and it climbs again.
I failed a skill assessment. Can I retake it?
Yes, after a cooldown period. Use the linked course material in between — the retake pulls from a randomized question bank.
My resume parsed incorrectly. What do I do?
Everything the parser extracts is editable — fix any field on your profile and the score recalculates. What you confirm always overrides what was extracted.
Do I lose XP or badges if I cancel my subscription?
No. Earned progress is permanent. Downgrading limits what earns XP going forward (see Plans & billing), never what you already earned.
How do employers find me?
Through role-fit matching against their job descriptions and through applications you submit. Priority visibility is part of the paid plan.
Is Vanilla a real person?
No — Vanilla is an AI coach with access to your platform context. Mentor sessions with real humans are a separate (paid-plan) feature.
Does the AI resume builder make things up?

If I connect Claude or ChatGPT, what can it see?
Only what a fixed set of tools returns — your score, profile, job matches, The Signal, and Vault documents you name. Never your password, payment details, or coach history, and only after you approve the connection. See Claude & ChatGPT.
Can employers see my Vault documents?
Not unless you send them a link. Vault files are private by default; a share link can carry an expiry, a view cap, and a passcode, and revoking it cuts access immediately.
