A resume built from your real profile
GrowthCharters has two resume surfaces: a conversational builder that writes and formats a resume from your verified profile, and a review tool that scores an existing resume the way an applicant tracking system reads it.
The AI resume builder
app.growthcharters.com/user/resume is a chat on the left and a live document preview on the right. You talk, it edits — every reply updates the page you are looking at. There are two ways in:
- Upgrade an existing resume — upload a PDF or DOCX; it is parsed into structured sections and rebuilt in a proper template.
- Start from your profile — your experience, education, skills, and verified badges are pulled in, so you are editing real data rather than retyping it. You can also import from a public profile.
Ask for anything in plain language — “make the summary shorter”, “rewrite bullet 2 with a metric”, “tailor this to the JD I pasted”. Builds save automatically and appear in the past builds gallery on the landing screen. Unfinished builds are pruned after 30 days; you can delete one yourself at any time.
Templates and styling
Nine templates, all producing a clean text layer that ATS parsers can read:

You can set an accent colour (or keep the template default) and toggle a photo per template. Photos are off by default — most Anglophone markets read them as a negative signal, and research shows they measurably hurt callbacks for some applicants. Turn one on when you are applying somewhere that expects it, such as Germany or Japan.
ATS checks and JD matching
- ATS lint — a real rule engine, not generic advice: recognised section headings, no contact details stranded in a header or footer, no information carried only by an icon, and a cap on keyword repetition. Warnings appear beside the preview as you build.
- JD match — paste a job description and you get the gap set: which requirements your resume covers and which it does not. Nothing is auto-inserted; you decide what to add, and it has to be true.
Resume review
/user/resume-review is the diagnostic side: upload a resume and get a score breakdown, prioritised feedback, and keyword analysis against your profession. Your most recent analysis loads automatically when you return — no need to re-upload to see it again.
Uploading also refreshes your profile and your Career Profile Score. Anything you have edited by hand wins over what the parser extracts.

Verified stays verified
The builder will not invent experience or claim a skill you have not demonstrated. Skills carrying a verified badge can be marked as such; everything else is presented as self-reported.
