Creator Studio — teach at scale
Studio is where mentors and educators build what learners consume: video courses, structured journeys, interactive packages, and live cohorts — published straight into the learning platform.
What you can build
- Courses — upload videos (resumable uploads, adaptive streaming is handled for you), organize lessons into modules, attach resources.
- Journeys — sequence courses into a role-oriented path.
- Interactive packages — import SCORM courseware; preview it in Studio exactly as learners will see it.
- Cohorts — scheduled groups with subjects, live sessions, and mentor roles.
The publishing flow
Content moves Studio → Learn → the learner's dashboard. When you publish, the course appears in the Learn catalog; learner completions award XP and badges automatically — you don't wire any of that yourself.
Running cohorts
- Build a cohort with the step-by-step setup bar: basics, audience, learning outcomes, pricing, certificate, and settings — then add subjects, mentors, a weekly routine, and one-off sessions.
- Schedule live sessions per subject; enrolled learners get signed join links.
- Invite mentors by email. Once they accept, the cohort appears in their Studio too — they can teach, schedule sessions, attach resources, and answer doubts, but only the cohort owner can publish, unpublish, or delete it.
- Published cohorts can be unpublished (back to draft) or set to Public / Unlisted / Private at any time from the cohort header.
- Learner doubts raised on your lessons land in your Studio inbox for answering.
Going live
- From the browser — open the session's control room and hit Go Live. Camera, screen share, and whiteboard all go out in the same stream.
- From the desktop app — for full-screen capture and a more reliable encode on a busy machine, download the Studio desktop app from
/desktop-app. It updates itself and shares your browser sign-in. - Quality and recording — the stream is transcoded to multiple bitrates so learners on weak connections stay in, and can be recorded automatically and published back to the cohort as a replay.
Analytics and insights
Studio reports real numbers from your content — watch-through, drop-off points, completion, and cohort attendance — plus AI insights that call out which lesson is losing people and why. The community tab surfaces the questions your learners are actually asking.
Becoming a creator
Studio access is for approved mentors and educators. Apply from studio.growthcharters.com — we review for subject expertise and teaching quality, because learner XP and badges depend on content integrity.
Creators earn trust, learners earn XP
Every completion of your course is 200 XP in someone's career identity — see how XP works. That's the bar for content quality.
