Getting started
Your first score in ten minutes
Create an account, upload your resume, and get your Career Profile Score — then start earning XP that no resume could ever show.
1. Create your account
- 1
Sign up
Go to auth.growthcharters.com/register. You can use email + password, or continue with Google or Microsoft.
- 2
Verify your email
We send a one-time code to your inbox. Enter it to activate the account — this keeps scores tied to real people.
- 3
Complete onboarding
Tell us your career stage (student, fresher, professional, or career changer). Your Career Profile Score is benchmarked against this — a student is never scored against a 10-year professional.
2. Upload your resume
During onboarding (or later from your profile), upload your resume as PDF or DOCX. Our AI reads it natively — including scanned and multi-column layouts — and extracts your experience, education, and skills into your profile. You review everything before it is saved; what you confirm in the review step is the source of truth, not the raw extraction.
Parsing usually takes under a minute. Your Career Profile Score (0–1000) is calculated from the confirmed profile and appears on your dashboard.
No resume to hand? Skip it and build one from your profile in the resume builder instead.
3. Start earning XP
Everything real you do on the platform earns XP. The fastest early wins:
- Take a skill assessment — passing one earns 500 XP and a verified badge.
- Start a course on learn.growthcharters.com — completion earns 200 XP.
- Have a goal-setting session with Vanilla, the AI coach — 50 XP per session with a set goal.
Why XP matters
XP is the layer of your career identity that cannot be faked — every point maps to a logged action. Employers see your XP total, your peer rank, and your last-30-day velocity. See XP — earned progress.
